Couple looking for a decent stay, look elsewhere

So we checked in and the morning deal clerk was really nice. They had a room for us even though it was late at night. That was a bit of a relief! !

But you know what, it wasn't expensive, yet, still left me feeling kinda unsatisfied.

Totally recommend for a mini-vacation

Comfortable bed, affordable price, and I loved having access to free wi-fi for staying connected during my two-night stay.

i had a decent stay at candlewood. the studio queen suite was comfortable and clean. the staff were really friendly, especially the morning clerk who was super kind. plus, the spa tub and fitness facility were great perks. it's close to everything, which made getting around easy.

the barking dogs across the hall were a bit annoying.

Despite the difficulty in finding the hotel due to GPS issues, the stay was pleasant. The room was spacious and clean, featuring a large desk and amenities like a refrigerator and cooktop, ideal for longer stays. The staff, especially Tyler at the front desk, were exceptionally helpful. A highlight was the hotel's excellent business center and workout facilities.

Candlewood has a fantastic location for families. The kitchenette with full-size appliances made meal prep a breeze. The comfortable beds allowed my wife and me to recharge after fun days at nearby Schlitterbahn. The helpful staff added to our great experience.

My wife says that more kid-friendly activities would be helpful.

The stay was enjoyable with easy access to local attractions, such as the Gruene Flea Antique Mall and Sophienburg Museum. The price was quite affordable, making it a good value for a family getaway. It was also refreshing to find a workout room available on-site, which added to our experience.

Pleasant Stay with Great Gym

Had a nice 1-night stay overall. The studio suite was clean and well-equipped for our needs. Found the gym facilities outstanding—modern equipment and no extra charges. A tip for future guests, try to avoid peak hours if you're looking for peace and quiet in the hallways.

I stayed in new braunfels for two nights and candlewood exceeded my expectations. the room was spacious and included a kitchenette which made my stay comfortable and easy. the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for my biking adventures.

laundry machines were out of order.

Great location and affordable. just wish housekeeping was daily, not weekly.

Not for Business Travelers

Rooms are updated and have kitchenettes, but watch out for awful smells! The customer service wasn’t great. they messed up our card charges a couple of times. The internet was super slow, too. The tiny picnic area is nice for grabbing a snack, but the place could use better management.

The room was huge and super comfy! The kitchenette was a bonus for late-night snacks, and the outdoor patio was perfect for relaxing. Would stay here again!

It was just a smart choice for a short stayover in New Braunfels with all in all brilliant value for money. The outdoor hot tub was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Make sure to check for any pet disturbances if you're not traveling with animals.
